SAImpact Automation Solution

What is SAImpact?  SAImpact is a modular set of tools that SAI has developed that provides PLC development, HMI development, Data Acquisition and Reporting.

SAImpact modules have been developed for the major PLC, HMI and database platforms.

All SAImpact HMI modules have been developed within the development software framework.  No external DLLs or ActiveX controls have been used.  This eliminates the issue with having to trouble shoot 3^rd party software and licensing that is not provided by the HMI vendor.  If a change is required it can be handled in the development software and does not require new executables to be used.    

The following diagram shows the modular capabilities of SAImpact.  As your plant grows and changes the control system can be expanded to meet your needs.

The core code covers the basics of system status, security structure, system alarming, interlocking and system tracking.

Device modules have been developed for the following: Pushbutton/Pilot light, selector, PID, Valve, Motor, Discrete Input, Discrete Output, Analog Input and Analog Output.

Equipment modules have been developed for the following:  Tank, Line, Receiving, Transfer, Batching, HTST, CIP and Filler. 

All modules are developed to be re-usable, so whether you have a system with one CIP unit to 10 CIP units or 10 valves to 1000 valves the SAImpact solution can be expanded to meet your needs.

Why SAImpact?  With the modular approach in coding it is easier for end users to become familiar with the system faster.  Once you learn one instance of an object you understand all instances of that object.  An instance of a module can be added easier in the future.  All modules have been tested in real world applications, so less field modification are required then a system developed with custom code.

All modules have been developed with flexibility in mind, so it is easy to modify any object to meet specific client needs.
